Manufacturing scope

Welded structures & tanks

Tanks, vessels, frames, bases, pipework, skid structures and screw-conveyor components, with coordinated post-weld machining, inspection, finishing and transport.

Identify manufacturing and assembly risks early

Plan fabrication and delivery around the structure, weld distortion, inspection requirements and transport conditions.

01

Structural review

Materials, thickness, bevels, welding methods and inspection.

02

Traceability

Materials, joint preparation, fit-up, welds, NDT and tests.

03

Welding–machining coordination

Distortion, machining allowance, datums and interfaces.

04

Large projects

Lifting, coating, protection, loading and transport coordination.

Manufacturing scope

Use these product groups to assess project fit. We confirm the scope against your drawings and requirements.

01

Tanks and vessels

Horizontal and vertical tanks and equipment vessels.

02

Frames and bases

Machine frames, platforms, bases and skid structures.

03

Pipework and assemblies

Pipe spools, flanges and custom welded components.

04

Conveying components

Screw conveyors, metering feeders, hoppers and supporting structures.

05

Standards and project requirements

Agree the applicable standards, design responsibility, certification route, third-party involvement, inspection scope and records before quotation. Editions and scope follow the project review and contract; listing a standard does not certify every product. PED 2014/68/EU; EN 13445; ASME BPVC; JIS.

One project contact

One project plan connects drawing requirements, process handoffs and release criteria.

01Drawing reviewConfirm drawing revisions, materials, tolerances, standards, quantities and delivery dates.
02Manufacturing planAssign in-house and supplier work, process steps, inspection checkpoints and schedules.
03Manufacturing processFollow the agreed process and record checks of critical requirements and any deviations.
04Inspection & testingRelease after checking agreed dimensions, appearance, quantities and inspection records.
05Packing & deliveryProtect machined surfaces, check identification and packing lists, and coordinate dispatch and transport.

Process control

We check critical requirements during production. Batch production begins after first-article approval, and shipment follows final inspection and document review.

01

Material traceability

Grades, heat numbers, MTC and approved substitutions.

02

Joint preparation and fit-up

Angle, root face, root gap, mismatch and cleanliness.

03

Welding process

Consumables, sequence, interpass cleaning, heat input and distortion.

04

Inspection and tests

Visual and dimensional checks, RT/UT/PT/MT, and leak, gas-tightness or pressure tests.

05

Surface preparation and dispatch

Carbon-steel Sa 2.5 preparation, coating thickness, machined-face protection and transport.

Finish / specifications

Stainless steel retains its natural finish without blasting; aluminium receives clear or black anodizing; carbon steel is bare or coated to drawing. Weld and bevel examples show the condition before coating.
